This is a blog about my life, my thoughts, my journeys, and about traveling. My goal is to inspire others to travel to expand their way of thinking.

Travel Brain Storm

I’ve been thinking lately about where I should go on my next adventure. I’m in the process of saving money but I’m honestly not sure. I’m not really interested in going to Europe since I feel that’s a place I can go to when I’m older. I do want to go back to Mexico to travel through the east coast. I’ve already been able to make my way from Central Mexico down to its southern tip. I think a really big compelling factor in going back is just that it’s pretty much one of my homes. I have friends there.. I know the area and I know how to get around.. and when I was there I lived like a local. This got me thinking, if I did go through Mexico, I could also go through either Central America or parts of South America. I can communicate now in those areas so going there is no longer as intimidating.

I also really want to go to Japan. I now have lots of friends there that I met when I was in SD and it’d be fun to see them all again. I still have NEVER been to Korea. I still need to go to Laos, Cambodia, Northern Thailand, the Philippines, and Northern Malaysia… India is sort of interesting to me but I feel like I would need to have some local guide show me around. I would really have NO WAY of communicating other than body language, which has helped me get by before but it’s definitely a stressful situation.

Ideally I’d love to go with friends but the timing and other factors never seem to work out. I don’t mind going by myself, but it’d be nice to have a companion or two to share the adventures with.

HMMMMM! Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m sure there are loads of places that I haven’t heard about that are great places to visit.
