This is a blog about my life and about traveling. My goal is to inspire others to travel to expand their way of thinking.

I noticed I haven’t written a post in a long time. My life pretty much has just been filled with just working during the daytime. G has a way of entertaining me with their random little events here and there. Most recently, they wheeled several HUGE pumpkins onto campus and staged this massive pumpkin carving event. Little things like that make me chuckle and amuse me. The relaxing bike rides on those multi-colored kid-sized bicycles through the Shoreline area as the reddening fall leaves dance around in the air have a way to make me forget about work.
I’ve gotten to the point now where I’ve started dreaming about work. Hahaha. So by the time I get home, my hands and arms are aching from typing all day so I avoid chatting or blogging. I also ice my wrist area to get rid of the potential tendonitis forming. Everyone else in the group seems fine hands-wise but for some reason my hands and arms don’t handle it well. I’m also super antsy Maybe it’s just not used to typing and doing repetitive movements for so long. My desk is decked out in ergo gear now, which has helped a lot. I think though, what I really need is just a week off for everything to properly heal. I’m pretty happy though that I’ve been able to get all this support in terms of adjusting to the new working environment.
It’s finally fall in the bay area. I haven’t experienced it properly in such a long time…. It’s really a beautiful season, especially with the yellowing/reddening of the leaves.. and them eventually falling down. Nothing is more cathartic than finding an extra crunchy crispy leave to hop on.
I noticed the first thing I began neglecting with the onset on this job was tumblr. Sorry tumblr! I began looking at posts again, though when I downloaded the app for my smart phone so I skim the posts before I go to sleep. To me, tumblr is like a personalized magazine that’s online. Moreover, it’s constantly changing and being updated. Haha.
More and more am I finding myself surrounded by the internet and technology. I do miss the face to face encounters… and how easily it was to see people while still in college. I’m glad my friends and I have found ways to keep in contact. Most recently we’ve made this Facebook group and it’s just been like an ongoing thread.
